I’m Tasvi Daya, a 24-year-old, first year PhD student at the University of Witwatersrand studying cancer biology. My project focuses on pancreatic cancer and the link between cholesterol and cancer drug resistance and progression. During the year 2021, I was placed 3rd in the national FameLab Science communication competition and my passion for science communication has been fuelled ever since. I look forward to my new role as a SAYAS blogger during 2022!
